The United Arab Emirates are considered one of the world's leading countries in generating solar energy around the clock, with battery storage systems and investments in artificial intelligence. Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei stated that data centers and artificial intelligence applications require large amounts of energy, which the UAE is seeking to provide by increasing its investments. During a press conference on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Energy Conference, Al Mazrouei mentioned that the UAE's current renewable energy production has reached 6.8 gigawatts. He explained that the UAE has set the 'Energy Strategy 2050', which aims to triple the country's renewable energy output.
